From mechanical engineering academia to banking leadership, VK Adarsh now serves as Assistant General Manager in the Risk Management Department at Union Bank of India, Mumbai, handling IT Risk and Third-Party Risk Management. Previously, as Chief Manager (Technical), he led the MLP as its Head -Banks MSME Processing Cell - overseeing credit processing, MSME outreach, and loan sanctions across six North Kerala districts and one UT. Earlier roles as Technical Officer in Mangalore and Ernakulam involved preparing techno-economic viability reports for industrial units from micro-enterprises to corporates, analyzing Kerala's key clusters. Starting his career as Assistant Professor of Mechanical Engineering at Younus College of Engineering, Kollam, he contributed as a Technical Associate to the Govt. of Kerala's Total Energy Security Mission.

A Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (FIE), Lifetime Member of All India Management Association (AIMA), and Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE), Adarsh holds an M.Tech in Technology Management (University of Kerala), B.Tech in Production Engineering (TKM College of Engineering), MBA in Entrepreneurship (Bharathiar University), and has submitted his PhD thesis at Aligarh Muslim University. Born and raised in Kollam, he now resides in Kozhikode and has earned the Kerala State Energy Conservation Award (2007) and Science Literature Award from KSCSTE, Govt. of Kerala, while serving on the expert committee for school ICT textbooks. Passionate about financial inclusion, he actively mentors budding entrepreneurs.
